Paulus Prime (fmr. Rim Worlds Republic)

Tiberius Checkers, a eager MechWarrior of the former Paulus Guards, grew disillusioned with the crumbling Rim Worlds Republic and subsequent Oberon Confederation. In 3030, acting on his own initiative, he led a group of loyal comrades to flee into the newly annexed area of Lyran Commonwealth, seeking refuge from the chaos. The Lyrans welcomed him warmly, and Tiberius pledged his loyalty to House Steiner, eager to rebuild his career under more stable leadership. First, becoming a founding member of the 1st Cuirassiers, a newly formed mercenary unit, and later assignment as leader of a specialized BattleMech lance. Years later, following the formation of the Federated Commonwealth Alliance, Tiberius’s lance was selected by the New Avalon Institute of Science as an experimental test unit, tasked with field-testing cutting-edge military technology.
