TBT-5N

The Trebuchet is a mainline medium weight BattleMech considered to be a fine blend of long- and short-range fire support for a unit of its size. With its respectable firepower, the Trebuchet was designed from the beginning to work as part of a lance instead of functioning as a stand-alone model.

TDR-5S

The Thunderbolt started production in 2491 as a planetary-assault ‘Mech, and in fact was one of the heaviest ‘Mechs that could be produced at that time. Since then the ‘Mech, known affectionately as the T-Bolt or sometimes as the Thud, has had its classification changed as larger ‘Mechs were built. Thanks to periodic updates, it is still feared and respected by many. With its varied arsenal, the Thunderbolt remains one of the best-armed ‘Mechs, making it capable of serving in many roles.

LCT-1V

The Locust was one of the most common BattleMechs in existence, having been in continuous production since the design was first introduced by Bergan Industries in 2499. One of the smallest ‘Mechs ever built, the Locust was designed exclusively for reconnaissance and quick strike missions, using its then-phenomenal speed to outrun most enemies.

AS7-D-HS

The Atlas II was designed by the Hegemony Research and Development Department, Weapons Division of the original Star League to maintain the technological edge over the other Great Houses. It was exclusively for the SLDF’s Royal Regiments. This custom variant exchanges its LB 10-X for a Imperator Ultra AC/5. The found mech on Iron Land was part of the 47th Corp’s Security Force (SLDF’s 20th Army).

QKD-A-HS

The Quickdraw QKD-A was originally built in 2779 as a replacement for the Rifleman BattleMech, though very few had been assigned to any ‘Mech regiments before the outbreak of the First Succession War in 2786. While it was unsuccessful in supplanting the Rifleman, throughout the course of the Succession Wars the Quickdraw proved itself to be a good generalist ‘Mech. Packing excellent firepower, solid armor protection and above-average speed, it quickly earned the respect of many MechWarriors and status as a workhorse in every military. This custom variant exchanges its SRM-4 for a pair of Streak SRM-2. The found mech on Iron Land was part of the 47th Corp’s Security Force (SLDF’s 20th Army).

EQUES 1

A multirole Mech developed in 2550 during the Golden Age, the Shadow Hawk is a powerful fusion of maneuverability and firepower. With a mix of long-range and short-range weapons, good maneuverability thanks to jump jets, and excellent endurance, the Shadow Hawk has long been regarded as one of the best ‘Mechs in its weight class. The Shadow Hawk is equally adept whether commanding a reconnaissance company or serving as a spotter for heavy and assault lances. Custom variant of the Shadow Hawk SH-2D, which was created by the New Avalon Institute of Science as an experimental test unit in order to field-testing cutting-edge military equipment.

The Catapult is an offense oriented, second-line fire-support Mech initially produced from 2561 to 2563. While being produced only in limited numbers, the Catapult had outperformed at its role. With large numbers of this Mech still in the field, the Catapult would continue to see use in the Star League Defense Force with second-line and specialist formations such as mountaineering regiments. Many variants of this venerable design were produced through its lifetime, and the Catapult’s rarity began to reverse in 3033. Custom variant of the Catapult CPLT-C4, which was created by the New Avalon Institute of Science as an experimental test unit in order to field-testing cutting-edge military equipment.

RFL-3N HS

EQUES 3

The definitive anti-aircraft Mech, the Rifleman was first fielded in 2505, making it among the earliest Mechs ever built. Designed as a medium fire-support platform, the Rifleman was plagued with a variety of problems since its debut and was ill-suited as a front-line combatant. However, its combination of long-ranged weaponry, including rapid-fire autocannons, and its excellent targeting and tracking system ensured it would remain a viable battlefield unit through half a millennium of combat. Custom variant of the Rifleman RFL-3N, which was created by the New Avalon Institute of Science as an experimental test unit in order to field-testing cutting-edge military equipment.

HBK-4G HS

EQUES 4

The Hunchback is a respected and feared Reunification War-era street fighter Mech that has been in production since its introduction in 2572. Built for urban combat and close range brawling, this Mech has the heavy armor and weaponry to stand up against any foe in the dense cover of a city environment. Its heavy armament does come at a cost: in terms of maneuverability and heat dissipation the Hunchback is merely average, while the lack of long-range weapons means the Hunchback is little more than a slow moving target in the open. In an attack, the slow speed of the Hunchback forces it to participate as part of the second wave, exploiting any weaknesses in the enemy’s armor after they’ve been softened up. Custom variant of the Hunchback HBK-4G, which was created by the New Avalon Institute of Science as an experimental test unit in order to field-testing cutting-edge military equipment.
